Healthy food for 500 children and young people: Donation of the Aroundtown Foundation to Arche Kinderstiftung

As a result, up to 500 children and young people in Berlin receive a healthy meal and at the same time learn a conscious approach to food and healthy cooking in the cooking courses offered.

The Arche Kinderstiftung is particularly committed to children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and in the fight against child poverty in Germany. Founded in Berlin-Hellersdorf, there are now around 30 locations nationwide, reaching more than 5,000 children and young people.

The work with children, young people and families includes free meals, educational support, meaningful leisure activities and help and advice for parents. These topics are implemented and interlinked, for example, through cooking courses. In this way, the children and adolescents are simultaneously provided with wholesome and balanced meals free of charge. In the community, the children and young people thus learn an appreciative approach to food and practice proven manners at the table.
