Neighborhood Development and Community Engagement
We proactively engage with tenants, local authorities, and community organizations, to understand and address community needs. Our Community Involvement and Development Guidelines (please refer to the Sustainability Governance page) define our approach to social responsibility, sustainable urban development, and support for local initiatives.
Alongside upgrading our commercial portfolio, we create inclusive, active urban spaces that add value to local communities. Our residential subsidiary Grand City Properties (GCP) supports community life by offering shared amenities such as playgrounds, fitness trails, BBQ areas, tenant libraries, and seasonal events.
Housing Access and Affordability
Our residential subsidiary GCP is committed to maintaining affordable, high-quality housing. We support tenants through hardship programs, and monitor rent burden to ensure accessibility. This proactive approach helps provide stable, long-term homes for our residents.
Community Support and Charitable Engagement
The Aroundtown Foundation drives community impact through projects that focus on youth and elderly welfare, education, and poverty relief. Aroundtown also encourages employee engagement with initiatives such as the Social Day program and blood donation events. These efforts strengthen communities and reflect our commitment to social responsibility across our portfolio and workforce.
